Jolly Roger is our favorite campground in the Keys. We have stayed there every year since 2007 except for having to cancel when the hurricane hit a couple of years ago. With reference to 'it's expensive'; compared to other parks in the Keys and hotel rooms, I don't think that the rates are excessive. They are a PasportAmerica member and if you don't mind staying in one of the sites farther away from the water, the cost is very reasonable. The park has really changed over the past 12 years. When we first visited, they had no pool and half the park was closed off. We were there for 4 or 5 nights and on one of those nights we were one of 3 customers in the whole park! That doesn't happen now. We have to reserve our site months in advance.
