Welcome Gina, my advice is if this is your first RV, try to find a local RV park which will let you come practice all of your setting up and operating all of the systems. It would be great if the person or place you're buying it from offers a familiarization/training service (more than what can be done at the lot).
Knowing how to use everything in every situation makes everything else more enjoyable. And a good checklist for packing, setting up and tearing down before leaving is critical.
