I’m currently towing a 28ft ATC aluminum car hauler, total weight 8000lbs fully loaded,
Axle weights are maxed out, slightly over on rear, under on front.
I have done all the recommended handling mods (steering dampener, track bar, stabilizer bars, sumos on front only, high caster angle)
I have done a minor reinforcement where the hitch attaches to the frame.
I’m using a Curt weight distributing hitch/sway control system.
The rv drives well with this set-up, I can cruise at 95-100 KPH, one hand on the wheel, Fuel mileage is about 7+ mpg....
I have not seen anyone towing the maximum weight on this forum yet, I just thought I would post my experience with it.
