The expansion, even on the non expanding foam, and the intolerable and ungodly sticky nature of wayward foam would keep me from trying a foam kit.
But
I think I will try some blow in insulation, or sheets of refractory cloth crammed as tight as is practical and warranted of such material.

I'll also run a 6guage hot wire up each A pillar, through conduit, before I stuff them.
This will power a fuse block and in turn power the valentine and the dash cam and such.

I didn't know about the ducting needed capped/bottomed/kept confined.
I'll do that tomorrow.
