I was considering epoxy, but i got the sense it needs to expand/contract, and if glued down and have not flex, it may buckle somewhere else. Too much to epoxy the whole run.

I'm now thinking about cutting the trim material near the bend, so that it can expand and contract as it wants, and staying in the track. Overlap the cut trim area with additional trim, so that if a gap develops it will be covered up. Might work?
