We downsized from a 37 foot A to our 24.1 Axis almost two years ago.

We have no problems with the cabinet space and manage well with the small closet by folding some clothes. The only thing about the bathroom that is too small for us is the shower!! The main living space seems plenty big enough when the slide is out, and we travel with TWO Labradors!!! We use the front seats with the table between them as our eating area and rarely use the table in front of the couch.

Actually, the only thing we really preferred about our large A was the slide in the bedroom and the walk around bed! We usually make up the 24.1 into an oversize king, though the twin configuration is easier to get in and out of, especially for bathroom trips in the night!! We use a fitted twin and a fitted full as our bottom sheets, and then use king size bedding for top covers. Works great!!

What we absolutely love about the Axis is its 94" width. Much easier when you hit construction on the expressway and narrow lanes!! Also, because it is so much shorter than what we had, we can take it out around town with much less hassle.

Everything is a trade off, but we are happy with our decision to downsize. If you decide to make the switch, you will find lots of helpful folk on here to help with the transition!!
