I agree 100% with Jerry's advice, take a couple of short trips so you know what you're missing. Better to find out close to home instead of in the middle of nowhere!

You didn't tell us much about your past experience with RV's but if you're asking for info, I'm going to assume this is your first one?

If so, I wouldn't leave home without some of the essentials you may need to keep the motor home operational. Get a tool bag and fill it with some of the commonly needed tools.
  • Screwdriver, adjustable wrenches, flashlight, handheld tire pressure gauge, zip ties, duct tape, knife, measuring tape
  • battery charger, jumper cables, long extension cord
You also might want to think about adding in;
  • Small air compressor
  • Umbrella or rain gear
And maybe a AAA (or competitor) membership?
