When I talked to a seller and asked if a surge protector would convey, be said that the RV has one built in and doesn’t need one. That’s counter to what I’ve heard elsewhere.

I don’t want to go without protection. So - is he correct?

It’s a 2017 Thor Outlaw 38RE.

And it I do need to get a protector, what should I look for? Any pros and cons?
