2018 Quantum KM24 Wiring Harness

Has anyone replaced their front slide motor wiring harness? Did you need to have the slide removed to get to the harness? Several times over the last 2 years I have got a code 9 on the front motor which I've been told is usually a bad wiring harness. I traced the routing of the harness and it is fastened to the floor under the slide and behind the slide rollers. The local RV repair shop checked it out and said they would have to pull the slide to replace the harness. The service manager checked with THOR and they confirmed the slide will needs to be pulled. They estimate it will take three days. I'm thinking of routing the harness under the floor and bring it up through the floor or the step wheel of the cab. Are all full body slides harnesses routed that way?
