For 12 years we had a 22' Gulfstream B+ ( class C without the cabover) and we never used any mechanical levelers. We leveled by driving up on blocks. For years as a kid I watched my father crawl around under his travel trailers leveling with a screw jacks, and I decided that was not for me. Mind you nothing wrong with a screw type jack, just seemed easier to this old fart to drive the MH up on blocks to level. Always carried a mixed bag of 2 x 12's for leveling. They stacked flat in the basement storage and when they got beat up you burned them and cut up a new set.
