I ran battery tender leads from my coach batteries up into the engine compartment.
Then I put battery tender leads on the chassis battery.
With an extension cord, and a three way 110v plug, I can hook both tenders up under the hood, I can also route the extension cord so it doesn't get pinched when shutting the hood.
We do this for the long off season storing, don't worry about it, and in the spring I check battery water again, no problems so far.
I did it this way so critters do not nest in the hook up cable storage compartment.
