A soldering iron will also Uncapture the screw. Use it to cut around the screw.
Over head drilling and the potential slip and puncture, swarf coming down on you, the percentage of time an ez out... Doesn't....
But
I looked closer at your picture and I think those heads will take a #2 Phillips
OR
a square drive.
Try a square drive head.
Some of the screws in my 24.1 will take either #2 or square drive.
