You can get 1/2” and larger check valves at Lowe’s plumbing dept. You can buy hose barbs or other connectors for the hook-up. Be aware the check valve has an orientation for flow and right side up. I re-plumbed mine and added a small ball valve just behind it to shut off flow. Hope this helps.
