The problem in my coach was the tv picture breaking up. I don’t know why; perhaps interference from other electrical wiring running in parallel with the hdmi cable.

I brought in another tv and it had the same problem. So I connected the tv temporarily with a 25 foot hdmi running across to the video distribution box and the picture was fine. Also tried these tests with direct connections to blu-ray and Dish box with the same results. I also tried an in-line hdmi booster with no improvement. Finally I concluded that the cable was bad.

Thor service line told me that the routing of the cable makes it impractical to replace after the final assembly of the coach. They recommended the wireless hdmi solution (perhaps suggesting that my problem was not the first they’d heard of the issue).

Anyway, the tv works well now.
