It's behind the front tires.
I have purchased the wheelwells that are (I think) in post 83 or 156 in my thread, but the boxes will have marine hdpe sheet(seaboard) as armor.
I'm thinking to ease life a bit the filler tube thingies will be accessed by that step up ledge to the cab. It should be easy to put the water inlet there and I won't have to jack with the wheel well access.

My 24.1 has a straight axle and leaf springs,

but

air bags for coilspring fronts are available for about 50 bucks. I posted a link earlier in the year where Amazon had them for 21 bucks. New heavier coil springs are under 200bucks.
I vaguely remember Ford making heavier factory coil springs for their snow plow package.

Three batteries at 67 pounds each weight less than me as a passenger or driver and are almost directly under the seats.
