I'll respectfully disagree with with the Boss here (And if I'm wrong: please let me know about it!): we're not too close to straying into the "Dark Waters" just yet...
But this is not about that anyway.
It's about having the common sense and good manners to obey the Law.
Here's a point that needs to be made:
If you're a visitor into another County: you don't get to make the rules. It's their ball and their court.
You have several possible choices:
Ignore the rules, and pay for what happens to you; if you get caught.
Consider finding a legal way to accomplish what you are trying to do...
or...
Just don't go to that Country.
If you choose to ignore their laws and get caught: rest assured that we all will be paying the price for it!
The term "Ugly American" unfortunately has a factual basis behind it. Nobody here is free from the consequences of their choices.
