A routine the DW and I have had for years is the connections on the business side before slides go out and slide come in before disconnecting the business side. This normally works out well because she will take the dog for a walk while I am connecting the coach and she returns when I am done. Now some will say she is dodging work but I say I'm getting her out of my hair while I'm busy.

BTW, I have shot knees after too many years in combat boots. I use a pad from Lowes which helps in the kneeling department. I am going to get a second pad to store on the other side of the coach just for the sake of convenience. This is similar to the one I use. The yellow stripes make it easy to locate when it is set down somewhere.
