We got a dash cam specifically for our Class A; however it has 3 electrical cord options so we switch it between the MH and our Toad. We have the Rexing X1V+ from Best Buy. It has front and rear cameras with an 18 foot cord on the rear-too short for the MH but fine for the Toad. The monitor is small at 2.5 inches but includes the mini-chip with an adapter to use in the standard size reader. Plugging that into a tablet or laptop works great. Picture quality is excellent with a 160 degree front field of vision; 120 for the back cam. Power cords are a fused plug direct from your fuse panel, a USB plug, and finally, a cigarette lighter plug and cord. It has a 4-hour loop with crash detection to auto-save the data. You can also lock segments with the touch of a button, and turn the microphone on or off. It also has an option for still pictures if you are so inclined. It has a short battery backup but with all the power cord options you shouldn't need it.

We tried an adapter using the USB cord in the cigarette socket due to that being a shorter cord-it did not work with that arrangement, but works fine with the three supplied cords.

We would recommend this unit-it also has a separate GPS tracker if you want to add it as a plug-in option.
