I use older models of that yi cam.
It has its own little wifi system that hooks to your phone.
It makes for an excellent rear facing camera you can see through your phone or tablet.
I'm very slightly considering putting one over my gas cap for easier alignment at a gas pump and the sewer and water hookups.
I have one under my offroad vehicle as a rock cam.
If a battery is important just plug it into an always live USB plug instead of a switched plug.
This makes an internal battery VERY unimportant.
