Very true! Lots of videos on YouTube about how to use them. In my oil company days, it was the only way we qualified truly bad batteries when adjusting them for dealers. It doesn't lie but the 10-15 second period must be adhered to. I've used this exact model for years and it works very well. Don't get over technical with it...just use it as designed. It also will test the charging system with engine running. Link is an excellent, no BS instructional video of this exact model. CAUTION: Unit gets VERY HOT when using...make sure it cools down in a safe area.
