If its on the inlet side of the pump, that would be for connecting a tube with fitting for inserting into your antifreeze bottle. Just before that fitting there is a inline valve going to the water tank. That would have to be turned off first.


So First drain the water tank, second close valve, Third attach tube and insert into Antifreeze bottle. Then turn on pump and run until each outlet passes pink antifreeze.


Don't forget to turn on the bypass valves to your Water heater and drain it.


If you want to save a little on antifreeze and you have a air compresser blow out the water in the lines first before staring the whole process.
