I've worried that the slide is not long enough on the 24.1 -- haven't measured to see if it's the same as the ones with dinettes. The couch doesn't appear as wide as a dinette is long. I've assumed that may be why Thor doesn't offer a dinette as an option in the 24.1.
Are you saying that the slide could not be modified to install this kind of dinette in place of couch?
After reading OP again, the dinette they refer to may be a table and chairs, of residential design. Not sure.
