Too close to Max....NEVER run that close....If you ever have a failure....(besides the potential damages)....insurance company will investigate....and if you are over by 1 lb....you will be left holding all the bills...ALWAYS over rate with a comfortable margin..
I know the masses will argue that these hitches (all) are over rated anyway...not smart to rely on that scenario...
