I don't remember who, but someone on the forum said they carry the spare for their 24.1 in the drivers side rear basement.

I now have a spare I carry with me and can put aside the spare rack and the build/mod that goes with it.
Frankly, I'm not sure I'd have thought to try putting the spare there.
I am considering installing either a safe or just a round bin to store the jack and stuff inside the rim of the spare when it's on the hitch rack.
The pictures are the safe and table built into the rack on my expedition type Blazer.
The blazer also has a fold down table attached to the spare rack. The 24.1 might get a spare cover with the same dimension ratio as the back of the rv, and it will fold down into a table. A flop out on each side and I can have a 4ftx6ft back there.
