Thanks for the pictures, and heads up. I did a brake job on mine last year and found that a few of the brake pads had over hung, as you described. However, there was little or no play in in the caliper or pads. The pads had slipped out of the spring seat, and I made sure that the new one's were seated properly. I'll have to check mine more closely the next time I get into it.
