Ford dealers are starting to advertise they have 2021 E-Series Cutaway in stock, so Class C RVs (and Axis/Vegas also) based on revised 2021 chassis may not be far behind.

Anyway, a window sticker for one of these new E-Series shows the “Economy” 7.3L V8 engine option as a price reduction, saving $350 from MSRP.

Since manufacturers often look at opportunities to lower RV costs, they may take this option which lowers power, torque, and towing capacity. I’m just sharing this information so someone doesn’t end up buying a motorhome with an engine option they didn’t want.

The Economy V8 has similar power and torque as outgoing V10, so if it saves fuel over Premium 7.3L V8 it may be worth it to some buyers.

The Economy engine is rated 300 HP at 3,750 RPM, and 425 lb-ft at 3,250 RPM.
