When we bought our Cherokee Trailhawk in 2019 the Active Drive 2 system was an option on the Limited. In our case we felt the added 4" of ground clearance and the addition of skid plates on the Trailhawk for basically the same $$ as the Limited made sense as we like to do a small bit of off road exploring on Forest Service and BLM roads.
