This is what we found, insulation only partially stripped on one wire of the water heater power which caused excessive resistance, heat, and almost a fire!!! Check all your connections closely!!! We were lucky that we were in the coach when this happened, traced the problem quickly, and possibly prevented a situation that could have been disastrous.  |
\Another reason to switch to CAFCI (AFDD) instead of standard circuit breakers.
