Follow up to repairs. Pulley ok, we had to jack up the slide slightly to take pressure off pulley system. Replacement cable went in as it should. The frayed cable is the result of poor alignment from the factory. See pics.

Attachment 22879I'm going to try to correct that. The cable is a 5/32nd, make sure you get the right crimping tool if you plan to repair it yourself. Also, it takes considerable arm strength to operate the tool. I'm replacing my spare cable kit, but I'm adding two cable clamps for on the road repairs. Should hold if needed to get to a repair shop.Click image for larger version
