My dad really really hates that downshift on his ram truck.

I like the kickdown so much I had it electronically added to my 3/4ton Avalanche.
My 8.1L(496ci) has the 485 trans, not the 480.
Big block Chevys respond well to computers, like 100hp well in some cases. Ford V10 Does not... at all. Nothing outside of laboratory specs can be found for a Ford V10.


So, I'm not against electronic engine mods, I'm against snake oil, seat of the pants and $2,500 five hp gains in the name of performance. And that's what's available for a Ford V10. Even the dual turbo install linked in my signature thread adds only better than 100hp.
