RV manufacturers typically don't make a 'specific' place for a satellite receiver, as it's not typically supplied by them, even if your RV is built as 'satellite ready' or 'rewired'. The coax to the roof, which is where they would 'prewire' it, if any, would most likely extend down into the 'entertainment box' cabinet.

Most of us, though, unless we're trying really hard to try to use the factory's wiring, if any, will simply run our own coax cable from the Portable Satellite Antenna into the RV thru a slide seal, an existing electrical or water 'chase', or even thru an open window, no matter 'where' you happen to want to place your Antenna.

There must be a direct coax line from the Antenna to your Receiver, and generally a HDMI cable then from the receiver to the TV itself, at least if you want to see HD channels actually in HD.
Where you place your receiver is up to you, and it doesn't HAVE to be in a cabinet, especially if you want the receiver's remote to work best. My living room receiver is mounted under the table, directly across from the sofa, which is perfect. My bedroom receiver is located on the shelf under the window. My outside receiver is located on the sliding shelf within the nearby outside main bay. All three can't necessarily access the portable satellite at the same time, but they all can when I bring out my 'manual' open-faced antenna when we are parked long-term. Otherwise, our portable rides on the rear of the roof on a temporary 'mount', and I can move it somewhere else on the roof, if needed, or bring it down to the ground.
