Peeling Pleather

The pleather on my dinette seat is beginning to show signs of wear (flaking).

I'd like to cover it before it gets any worse and thought about some kind of slip cover. I rotate the cushions but that doesn't seem to be averting the inevitable.

I'd prefer to grab something off the store shelf rather seeking out a custom solution - going through all that bologna. To the store, back home, problem solved.

Has anyone used this approach. If so, what was your solution and where did you find it?

Thanks.
