We stayed at Red Gates Farm Trail Campgrounds just west of Savannah. few miles west of downtown, they have a trolley that comes in every morning at 9 AM and takes you on 90 minute tour of Savannah then drops you off at one of many trolley stops along the way. you can ride the trolley all day from stop to stop and it returns to the campground at 4 PM. was a charge for the tour not sure what it would cost just to get into town. Very nice campgrounds also have an area where they keep horses etc... On the Good Sam list. Campground run by a husband and wife team that have loads of motorhome experience to share, they live in there motorhome on the grounds.
We do want to get back to Savannah in the near future. My wife just had open heart surgery and the Trolley was a blessing for us. A lot to see in Savannah.
We own a Vegas 24.1 haven't had any mechanical issues but still working on fixes with CW since we bought in September.
