I'm not seeing how paying off student loans has anything to do with the current situation. Extended UI benefits, we can talk about that when current benefits are about to run out. From what I read, the Majority Whip said the Democrats were going to use this crisis to get unpopular agenda items passed through Congress. To me, now isn't the time for expansion of the welfare state.
