It is not a Thor thing, but an entire industry thing. Happens to all brands of trailers and fifth wheels. As stated, it does not matter what the cost. 15K to 2M. Once the hole is drilled,if the plug is in the drill fine, if not it is not fished out of the tank. One solution to the "it will not drain" is to have an external valve. Close it. Open the black tank valve and at the same time open the (near full tank needed) gray water valve. It generally pushes the black tank plug back into the tank and it will drain. If not, you will have to have a RV tank cleaning service come out and suck that sucker dry. They will also with high pressure clean the inside the tank. The tank level indicators will work like new for a trip or two again.
