This is not the time to insist on large, double-blind studies to wait to approve this application of already authorized medicines in the fight against this new virus. Now that it's been approved for this use we will get the results on how effective it really may be in this ongoing live study. If it's not the miracle drug against this virus we'll know it soon enough. This approval has not slowed down the other research into drugs and vaccines to fight this virus, that's still ongoing as well.
