We have IPhones/iPads. Bought an adapter from Apple (you can find similar ones on Amazon) that plug into the port at the bottom of the device. The adapter has an HDMI port that we plug an HDMI cable from the TV to the adapter. On the TV MENU , We select the HDMI that is connected to the device and wala we can watch our U-VERSE steaming w/free data.
Also, the adapter has a port that allows charging the device while streaming
