I still have a soft spot for spitfire.
If I ever need a towed, and I hope to never need a towed, a miata based spitfire is probably the choice I'll make.
I had one 10.98 sec car.
A 1969 Dana 427 camaro.
128mph@10.98... Not me driving. It hit 128 about 3/4 down the track and then you held it there. I have a time slip arojnd here somewhere from ocir.
I didn't put fifty miles on it all the time I had it. To sacry, too little talent, too much car.
I'm a rsr guy, not a drag guy.
But it was a unicorn and I was going to own it.
Your dad was a more talented guy than I, but I did pull 1g in a corner when that was a rarity.
Some Twin stick dodge colts came with a008's from the factory....
I'm not much of a car guy anymore. It's a been there done that, too many stories top too many other people's stories for me to even mention the cars at a campfire bull session, thing.
It's a very great rarity I mention the cars. It's a giant rarity when I open the photo album.
But the 10second street car and the little car big engine of your dad's was just too tempti g and coincidental.
