Don’t know about the Chevy chassis. I also recall that the factory will install for free if you take it there. RVs are made for traveling so maybe just plan a trip that way when they let us out again?!
The Safe T Plus people are very good to work with. They offered to install for me but I had no chance of getting back to Atlanta any time soon. Had I known, I went through Atlanta on my way back from Florida where I had just bought the the RV. At the time, I just wanted to get back to Dallas alive with new RV

The Ford bolt torque is exactly as you say, it was no chance for me to get off as I tried. Not sure I wanted it to come off anyway because I think you need to relieve the pressure off the springs? My RV; although a brand new 2019 was rusted pretty good. Tried that Pressure Blaster stuff a few times, but no breaker bar. The Rush Commercial Truck center in Irving TX should have got it off, but they claim they thought the U bolt would break and it would need to be replaced. So to not cripple me, they wanted me to bring it back later after they had custom order parts made if it actually broke? It may have cost me $400 to let them do it!!! I ate the sunk $175 and never looked back. The Spring Alignment shop in Dallas said it came right off; I was just glad it was over. I got such a good deal on the Safe T Plus kit that I still was only out about $650 total?
