Yes, a bit tough to do. Personally, having previously owned the same rig, I would not loosen the bolts. I would try spraying some silicone spray and/or see if you can fit a small strap wrench around it for her so she can get some leverage.

Also make sure that the screws sticking out from the bottom of the sewer bay have some type of protection on their sharp points or have been changed out with bolts and nuts which is what I did. They will definitely make your hand look like a shark tried to rip off your hand.
