Organic may be the right word when we read and see "Ducky was wrong" ? What gives... So some unpublishable behind the scenes agreement resolved the issue which is great news; but that does not change policy nor process for a procedural question. I once bought an open box Wireless JBL system from Best Buy, but they would not give me a refund despite acknowledging it was missing a power transformer for one of the speakers. They did not have to give me a refund and didn't; but the agreement was Discover issued me a credit and I was allowed to keep the item as is!!!! Go figure.
Anyways, what I am trying to say is I trust in the Duck
But of course I was fortunate enough to get his advice BEFORE I bought, and I got it right the first time.
