I insulated the doghouse in my 2018 Chateau with Dynamat, and it helped, but it wasn't a huge difference. I think adding insulation above the engine would also help. There is a metal sheet between the engine and the dash, and adding insulation on that might help.
My next project will be to add insulation to the floors and firewall inside the cab.
