While the 28F is slightly different than the 28Z I own, they are very similar (actually the 29G is closer to the 28Z).

With all of the Schwintek slide out issues, I would avoid large full-room slide outs. However, I have not had any issues with the slide out on my 28Z, and while it appears the 28F is larger than mine, you may not have any issue.

Truth be told, if I were to buy all over again, I think I'd buy a 29G over either 28Z or 28F), which was not available when I bought mine. I prefer two smaller slide outs to one larger one.

The thing to remember with slide outs is to make sure you are on level ground when deploying them. A couple of times, I could not get on level enough ground at the campground to deploy the slide, so make sure the RV has adequate room without deploying the slide out. The 28Z does... not sure about the 28F (or 29G for that matter).

The main issue I dislike about the 28F is I don't like curb side slides. This is a matter of personal preference, but I much prefer to have less things to run into near the coach entrance while camping.

I think you will find that all of the larger Class C's leave something to be desired when it comes to driving. You of course will have to judge this for yourself to see if it is a problem. I ended up installing beefier sway bars (Hellwig) front and back, and that made a huge difference in handling.

If you are looking to buy one of these rigs, I'd simply add $500 to the budget for upgraded sway bars.
