As the OP, I thought I should follow up on my progress.
I fell into pretty hard analysis paralysis.
The thought of cutting into the outside of the coach freaked me out.
It is easy to hide mistakes on the inside and outside of your house, and even the inside of the coach, but the outside freaked me out.
I finally finished.
I noticed in some pictures from the 2018 models, it appears that THOR put an extension on the back of the hood to allow the front to align with the front of the cabinet.
I made a larger extension to get it out a bit further.
I also went through a lot of different external vents trying to find one I really liked.
