I have a Freedom Elite 28H which is basically the same as the 28Z. I have had no problems with the slides, even on non-level ground, but have installed a Big Foot leveling system which hopefully will help me to never have an issue. As for drive-ability, I installed the Safe-T-Plus steering control and it was like night and day on the highway and in windy situations. Before installing the rig seemed to be all over the place in even the slightest breeze. This is my first RV and I found a lot of ways to fix what I didn't like on here and other forums.
