I would think the stock vent cover does not help the situation where the shark fin would create that negative pressure to keep it from allowing an air flow up the toilet when flushing.
Has anyone changed these out? How difficult was it and did it help?
Well, coincedentally, I just did this today! Shark Vent to replace the cap, which I don't think worked that well as I seemed to get some smells in the coach. I just did the black water tank, but maybe I need to do the gray water vent as well.
It was a little tricky getting the old vent off, and I used some of that new Flex Seal when installing the new vent. Flex Seal was easy to use, but doesn't fill gaps... too thin. I didn't use the "paste", just the liquid style.
Anybody have any experience with the Flex Seal, or is its use just too early to judge?!
