Looking back to the original OP question, I would almost suspect the blue wire would be from the converter, if in fact you originally had a 40 amp breaker in the box. The breaker appears to have been removed and the wires to it were spliced together and taped. |
THIS is the best theory I've heard yet. Thank you for this. Duh, this wire is right in front of me! :laughing: I will need to do some voltage tests once I get 120v up and running again.
