It says you're "filling the fresh water tank & draining the grey", I'm reading this that you're filling the fw & trying to drain it by opening the grey tank, that WILL NOT work unless you've pumped the fresh water down a drain. If this is the case you've possibly overfilled the fw tank, possibly ruptured it, causing the leak.
Hopefully I've read it too literal & I this is not the case!

I could see this angle too. When I read again this phrase confuses me..
"After de-winterizing," OP didn't say if leak was already there or only when they started adding fresh water? I would think gray tank & fresh water tanks would be empty before and after de-winterizing? Maybe some of the pink stuff, but if that was used OP would know the leaked water is the pink stuff.
Do the ACE 29.3 not have a overflow drain for freshwater? Even if it does if incoming water is not regulated and well above 60 psi or so, it could burst that tank, although Winnebago told me those tanks should easily withstand 80 psi and more. My coach overflows at the rear harmlessly to the ground. That is what I use to stop to ensure I have maximum water in my tanks
