Upgrading after the fact (aftermarket) costs way more than if done originally.

One problem I see is that the industry doesn’t offer many RV choices in what I like to think of as compact and simple in design yet built with higher quality materials. It must be a middle ground in pricing that buyers don’t value much.

I would personally pay the incremental cost for automotive fabrics and foam that can last up to 20 years in normal use.
