the left drivers side (if under the hood) could be the TROMBETTA relay that controls house battery and chassis battery connections. If SHORE POWER is providing charging voltage greater than 12.6v, and alternator is not supplying power, the TROMETTA will close to charge the chassis battery also. When the SHOREPOWER is disconnected, the relay will open. This could be the "click" you hear.

Question is, are your house batteries actually charged?
